HA! SO, if it's been 4 years for you in this bad spot, then maybe I should save some of the 100+ seedlings from my 'What's My Line' X 'Regimen' group that I haven't seen bloom? Especially with the happy results I've seen from a few. Amazing what happens when one seedling gets a *good spring*, huh? So now if only your DG X DB seedling performs like this every year . . . :-) Happy you! Good finds! Thanks for sharing! Adam~ On May 14, 2011, at 11:35 PM, <M*@msn.com> wrote:
Boy, ya just never know - or at least I don't. Most of the seedlings planted out in 2007 were in a bad spot: north-facing slope and too wet. Among a row of not bad, but badly branched pinks from the cross, this one showed up after 4 years. A bad year so far for branching and bud count, but this one has 3 branches and spur, eight buds. I put DOS on it today. If anything is more fun than this, I'm too old to enjoy it.
