Yes, the like to perch on the iris but only the nicer flowers.

Mike, are the CA birds using your irises as a perch?  The black crows have loved mine.  Lots of droppings too!  They especially enjoyed Rippling River.

didn't take too many seedling pictures this year, too busy with other stuff.  Here is one out of Raspberry Swirl, not sure if I like it but the standards are interesting (a little squashed from birds) tall with thick stalks and 9 buds.  haft marks sort of bug me on this one.
