(Spring Fling x Immortality) X Decadence
 
Pod parent was tall, mauvish, hafty.  Lots of buds on 4
branches and very early.  No RE but so crowded, it mighta-
coulda been.  Bloom quality so poor I never felt inclined to
give it space.  Extreme vigor.
 
Decadence has not been a magic bullet, pollen-wise, on the
stuff I've tried, but sure worked on this one.  Standards look
a bit short, and too open for my taste, but I love the play of
color in the falls. 
 
My real favorites are the 85-90 with spent primaries that I'll have
to wait to see, but this one can eat crackers in my iris bed
anytime.  Yes, it's garden name is "Eating Crackers"
 
I think I have the only catalpa tree in central Indiana with
bloom frozen out.  No wonder my bloom was generally very poor
this spring. 
 
Would love to see everybody's favorite new ones, registered or
seedlings. 
 
Either sequential stalks or repeats on Forever Blue and Flirting
Again.  Hard to define with this weather.
