I have a little 2’x2’ raised bed that is currently full of TB Amity Estate, which I got as a bonus from Schreiner’s some years back. But two weeks ago it was full of this Mystery IB – a dozen flowering stalks or more each spring, consistently, for years. And I don’t know which IB this is. I’m pretty sure it’s also a bonus iris (and if it propagates like this for West Coast breeders as well as for me in NYC, I can see why they were giving it away!) from Schreiner’s or the Suttons. If you can identify it, great. If no one can, that’s fine, but what pattern is that on the falls? I want to say plicata, but there’s this lighter lavender ve!
ining in the centers of the falls. Is that just the default for maroon applied over a light violet ground? I’m not sure whether Irfanview will produce a viewable attachment, but at least I’ve cut the file size down. Dawn |
