Some strange weather years seem to produce repeat stalks. Somewhere
around 1991 (could be off a year or two) I had a handful of introduced
irises repeat (after regular season.)

From WalMart, labeled LACY SNOWFLAKE. From photos online, looks like
this one might actually be labeled correctly - color, overall form,
pleats, ruffles, serrated petal edges and warty lace match.

Temp in town this noon was 96. She looks cool and comfy ;-) A very
welcome sight after this spring.

I've had this iris for >20 yrs, same bed, never dug and reset unless
last year's massive weed removal counts :-) She's never done this
before. Lots of stalks a month ago, most buds & blooms pretty badly
damaged, but not totally killed. Near the house & trees.

Linda Mann east TN USA zone 7b where last straggling bloom of the main
season TBs finished last week.
