Charm
Hi Pearl, Hi Colleen,
This English Charm was sent to me
by Schreiners, so I'm pretty sure it's true to it's name. This was it's
first bloom for me, so maybe next year it will look different, and then again
maybe not. Arizona desert heat and soil may play with those color
pigments some.
So far it has not been a good
grower (only one increase for me) AND so far no rebloom on it. I'll
see next year whether it strengthens or fizzles as it acclimates to our
climate.
It sure is pretty though. :-)

Margie, are you sure about the name of this
one? I ordered this iris because i wanted an apricot amoena, but
your picture looks like a totally different iris than the one pictured
in Shcreiner's catalogue. I know the pictures in catalogues are sometimes
deceiving, but you can usually see the resemblance. If it is the same iris
tell me how it grows for you. It's supposed to be a rebloomer. Have you had
it long enough to see a rebloom? Pearl
Hi Margie
Surprised at the paleness of the falls on your
photo, always a lovely rich apricot for us. Has it ever rebloomed for
you?
