Margie, it has very good substance, more than any iris I have. I don't have full sun anywhere so I can't answer that question, but it is in a bed that gets the most sun I have. Keep in mind that this iris came from a not so reputable dealer and the identity is questionable for that reason. If you are interested in it anyway, let me know and I will mark your name on a rhizome.

Thanks for the info Margie. I'll put it in my notes. I like this iris. It grows well with or without care. This bloom is on a rhizome I moved late last fall to an area not gardening friendly. Although a little small, the bloom is very nice.

Glazed Orange is a Schreiners ' 69. R13-2 9 (Tracing to Pink Cameo, Desert Song, Peach Meringue x Glittering Amber) x Celestial glory. For such an older iris - the form is quite nice on it. I like the colors too.
