I. "germanica" Czech Republic


For those of you who ordered from the HIPS listing this year.  This was taken at Andiris.  I don't know if it's really wild or if it's an old cultivar, but in person it looks a lot like a "red" version of plants like I. varbossiana, 'Amas', etc.  So, I'm inclined to think it may be a tetraploid TB wildling.  It's not a 44 chromosome I. x germanica though.
