Yes, the pollen does stick to the cotton fibers on the q-tip
especially if you twirl it around on the stamen a bit. Hard to see the
light colored pollen, but its there. I get a lot of pods with this
method; more, I think, than using the tweezer method. Also helpful if
you want to insure that there is no contamination from your previous
cross. Just use new q-tip each time you take different pollen.
