Re: HYB: seedling

Hello Linda
How many buds?
and the texture?

Since this one seems to be an autumn bloomer that doesn't rebloom in the spring...
you should keep all of it's pollen in the deep freezer so you can daub it in the spring on some reblooming SDBs for me, pleeeeease....

Like Forever Blue, Cry Baby, Auroralita, Fairy Footsteps, or anything that will be willing to bloom in your very tough climate!

Everything here has frozen, about 100 stalks; that is really an incentive to try and produce EARLY rebloomers!

Not much to look at, but at least it's a bloom! Dug and brought indoors.

IMMORTALITY X VIOLET CLASSIC. Photos don't quite capture it, but it's a
pale blue-lavender zonal. IMM sweet fragrance. Flowers are bigger than
on maiden bloom - more normal iris size. Maiden blooms last fall were
small.
