I live in the small green bit close to Germany, so i'm in zone 7, as i suspected, but i was not really sure.
 
Closer to the sea, it's a bit milder, especially when it freezes.
 
Amazingly, north and south irises manage well here.
The ones that die are the ones that can't stand the humidity....and i don't blame them...

This shows most of the Netherlands in USDA zone 8, a tiny amount in zone
7. Same as most of UK & France.

Thanks to being next to the Atlantic, probably a lot less variability
than continental US zone 7 & 8. Probably more like Oregon, but a lot
wetter!

Looks like you have some "California" rebloomers <and> some "cold
climate" rebloomers there.
