Re: Reblooming siblings

Mike  --  I agree.  The pattern and the color contrast on the first is distinctive.  Congratulations a reaching a goal!  Hope the flower is a good one.  --  Griff

Subject: [iris-photos] Reblooming siblings

Couple of sibs blooming today.  the first is much nicer than the second and looks a bit like it's sib posted a couple of weeks ago.  Cross is a "V" cross so no number yet but it is: Spot On X ((Twice Told X Connie Sue) x Foreign Legion).  the nicer of the two has 11 buds and great branching, very tall and thick stalks at 38".  The second only has 8 buds but the branching is very nice too, not quite as tall at 36".  On a really cool note...been working for a specfic goal for 8 years and it finally happened this fall.  Got my first variegated foliage reblooming TB.  Just sending up a stalk right now, hopefully it won't freeze.  The cross is exciting too, involving Zebra Nights, Fiery Temper, Spot On, Tropical Delight and Starring.  Hope the flower is nice, because the foliage sure is, grows well too.
