Thanks, Chuck -- I was surprised to get its golden apple color
from two reds. Most of its siblings are red-violet selfs, except for one
(pictured) whose flower form is a little too rangy. Some of its red-violet
siblings can be seen in the photo. -- Griff

summer, and the fact that certain reliable rebloomers havenât done so this
year -- combined with seeing the results from friends who did
water -- finally convinces me that itâs worth doing for
rebloom. Also, the lesson has been worthwhile in seeing how different
rebloomers have performed or not.
Hereâs a photo of âAutumn Nectarâ, which will be introduced in 2011.

wonderful sight, if they'd had a chance to bloom in the summer or earlier in the
fall. O & O has bloomed early here even in a bed where water is
limited and shade non existent. Did you water any during this extremely
hot and dry summer?
Have you posted a picture of 'Autumn Nectar?'
We've had a freeze here but I spotted a stalk up on one of the Star Gate x
Matrix seedlings. It looks viable but won't make it as we have another
freeze slated for tonight.

stalks. âAgain and Againâ and Lunar Whitewash have stalks up, but not yet
showing color. Weâve had heavy frosts, but no freeze yet.
Watching the forecast for the next couple of days very closely. Of
eighteen siblings from a cross of âAgain and Againâ X Autumn Nectar (R. 2010)
planted in 2009, three have bloomed this fall and four have stalks up, only one
of which is showing color. So, I may be able to cut it and see the bloom,
but Iâm afraid a freeze will get the rest. -- Griff
