For me it's not a fast increaser, does bloom shorter than it's description, but is gorgeous to look at.  It's going on it's second year for me. (the photo was taken in San Diego). So far it doesn't seem to be that susceptible to rot.  Right now (for me) - - it's a keeper!.

I enjoy all your photos, but this one particularly caught my eye.  Hadn't seen it before and just love it.  Any info on growing?  Does it like the heat?
