An update on the cross 1812.
Summer of 2003, harvested two hundred forty eight seed from six pods. Approximately Two hundred thirty five seed planted into ten mum pots. (rest dropped under picnic table!) There were 92 seedlings planted out with 7 or 8 returned to pots due to small size. Only 1 plant has perished, while about 6 or 7 have failed to grow. (well)
Red flags in this 'bed shot' indicate plants where a definite stalk has been identifed in the fans. This morning's count is fifteen.
For those that didn't see the earlier posts this is Lemon Reflection (cycle rebloomer) X seedling 1510-1RE (July - Oct in 2003) (Innocent Star x (Earl of Essex x Hot Streak)) . . . on website.
Although this seedling has been given the RE identification, that id will be removed if this doesn't bloom in the spring!
Two more are showing color and should open blooms soon.
