I'll count the buds when I'm home from work this p.m.  There are 
certainly more than four.  I'd removed two from the stalk in the 
photo before I took the picture and there are three open in the 
photo (hard to tell, but they are there).  My best guess is there 
are about seven per stalk now, but I'll check.  I can't remember 
what it may have had last spring.
