Re: Photographing Dark Flowers


Thanks Chuck.  That sounds like something I would actually do.  Beats
pointing at various things and half clicking trying to guess what will
provide the best exposure - usually get it way too dark or way too light
and don't have the patience to try more than once or twice.

But I can work on finding something that works well this winter that I
can carry around with me while photographing - possibly a piece of card
stock of some color?

Or maybe find a website that has a 17% gray display and print it out. Or
an internet supplier to buy one.   "Local" specialty photo shop is
probably 50 miles away.
