I was so impressed by Midsummernight's Dream and Barrel House Blues that i did  the same cross (Best Bet X What Again), again, last year.

They germinated six months ago and there are 25 seedlings growing in bed 20.

 

Miracle, last month one of the seedling was already in bloom......5 months old...!

but the miracle stopped here...

have a look at it... awful!

 

Last week, number 2 seedling opened:

4 buds, lookalike of Midsummernight's dream, with bigger and slightly darker-blue flowers, a treat!

 

Number 3, 4 and 5 have put up a stalk, but winter is coming...fingers crossed, will they have time...?

 

I join the two pictures of the seedlings, and a picture of the fall of Midsummer's dream on the right, side by side with seedling number 2, on the left.
