Re: REB: Frequent Flyer seedlings

Mary Lou  --  Your yellow looks interesting, and both appear to have good branching.  The "ugly duckling"'s branching looks great.  I hope you're developing it further to update the blossom form.  --  Griff

Subject: [iris-photos] REB: Frequent Flyer seedlings

Yellow one is by Winesap, my 'ugly duckling' is by Orange
Popsicle.  Both have been blooming for a couple of weeks.
Blowing too many open at a time with highs in the 80s.

Both also have secondary stalks from same rhyzome, which
are progressing at the same time.  Would like to see them
bloom later than primary stalk.

Frequent Flyer has never rebloomed here, but it's pod parent,
Eternal Bliss has rebloomed up the road with, I think 4 stalks
per rhyzome.  Cameo Blush, also from EB performed similarly.
EB & CB both unfortunately rotted to death in spring.

BTW- Robin, Betty, Linda (RBL) Description and parentage of
Frequent Flyer in Checklist do not match the register.
