REB: Three reblooming seedlings (third year)

This is the third consecutive year for rebloom on these three seedlings from Iris cengialtii X CLOWN PANTS. I'm sorry I've never used seedling numbers, so I'll try to at least use the same numbers (1,2,3 and 4) that I used last year when posting.

1) The veiny rebloomer (RE#3) has been blooming since early September.

2) The clump shot is of RE#2 - which I recently posted a close-up shot.

3) Shows how the flower form of the RE#1 seedling becomes distorted with age. The form isn't too awful at first opening but soon becomes tucked and twisted (not my ideal of beauty).

RE#3 and RE#2 are the cream of the crop and hopefully will eventually be registered and introduced (for breeding stock if nothing else). I'm not quite sure what class they'll fit though, since although they are diploid, they're a little big to be MTB and a little small to be BB.

There's a fourth sibling (an even more vigorous grower) that has also rebloomed the past two years, but it's usually a little later than these three -- it hasn't shown any signs of stalks yet.
