It could be hardy alright:
 
i have two children from Epicenter that are doing very well in my heavy clay, heavy frost and heavy humidity : Ozark Rebounder, with good rebloom, Local Hero, with amazing growth, so who knows?

Here is one of my dark top plicata seedlings. This one is an IB from Eoicentre X Summoned Spirit.

Hopefully it will have hardiness of SS and not that of Epicentre.
