Even though it might seem to be a bit of shameless self-promotion, I'm forwarding this photo of 'Stealth Fighter' from Elouise Young in Las Cruces, NM, since it shows a performance that exceeds what it does here in its home garden (where it reblooms in December) and what it is capable of in a warmer climate.  --  Griff

an awesome flower...
the falls stay erect..
black falls with a blue beard
the falls on these do touch...

haunting on the second stalk
will be open tomorrow...
so i have that stalk to look forward to... plus another on stealth fighter..

pretty cold today...hope for a late fall
