Yes, Mary Lou, definitely some joy from these, in spite of the gloomy
weather we've been having. Sure is easier to enjoy and evaluate blooms
this time of year than it was this spring!! I posted the pedigrees of
the 'new' ones on to iris-talk.
These two opened today.
yellow is maiden 2011 seed (GOLDEN IMMORTAL x DOCTOR ALAN) X HoM
pinky-purpley is 2008 seed, first time to rebloom DOCTOR ALAN X RENOWN
(not the one I sent you, Betty)
I won't pot up the maidens - don't like to risk losing the whole plant
by potting and they are just babies, so it's hard to cut a piece out of
them without doing too much damage. I might try to cover a few. I'm
especially curious to see how awful looking the IMM X (IMM x Csong)
blooms are, & since they are still down in the fan, probably will have
to cover them.
But will definitely be potting up pieces of all the older ones I didn't
know could rebloom.
> BTW Linda, 21 RE seedlings (from Facebook) sounds joyous. Hope
