Actually, I grew up in Ohio, but lived for 32 years and had my best garden in Annapolis, Maryland, which is also in zone 7. I now live in Crandon, Wisconsin, which is 110 miles northwest of Green Bay. The Northwoods provides fair-to-middlin' circumstances for irises..I am surprised at how many do well. But no remontants. With a 90 day growing season, I am often saying goodbye to my last medians around June 15, and nearly always still have TB's going on my birthday, July 4. No time for rebloom. GJ
