HYB:Seedling

I know this is a poor photo, but it best shows something I wanted to share.  You may note this is a pale yellow iris with a purple wash on the falls.  (Umbrata?)  Or does the plicata breeding cancel this out?

It's from the group I showed in the 'early planting' photo earlier.  It has good branching, good bud count, adequate form, but it's UGLY!  Maybe it will improve with time!    ;-)

This is LEMON REFLECTION X (INNOCENT STAR x (EARL OF ESSEX x HOT STREAK) .  The ultimate goal is a GOOD red on yellow reblooming plicata.  This is the first seedling to bloom from this cross which started sprouting (mum pots) in late march of 2004 and was planted the first two weeks of May.  This did not accomplish my goal <bg> but I've approximately 90 left to bloom.  Two more will bloom before we have the average late freeze.

Notice the pumpkins!
