Francelle  --  Yes, those are luscious colors in the first photo.  I guess some of nature's gifts are just ephemeral and we have to savor the joy as it occurs and be grateful that we had a camera to record it.  --  Griff

I am reposting two separate pictures of the same seedling, the first taken 2005, the second taken this spring.  The first pictures shows two terminal blossoms.  The second shows just one blossom taken at the end of a long hot day.  The second year bloom was definitely paler in color that the first.
