Now, something that might not be to everybody's
taste, but i have so many seeds, and the Ensata germinate here so well (100%
last year), that i've decided to keep 25 seeds of each and share the rest, if
anyone is interested.
You must know they like very rich acidic soil, wet
in the summer, dry in the winter, in a quite sunny place.
The base of my quest with the Ensata is the same as with the Bearded
irises: a multitude of smaller flowers on smaller plants.
Therefore, i've based my crosses on Rose Queen.
It's very old, with very small flowers, and i hope it will help me get
where want.
I'm only starting, so wish me luck!
I will put small pictures of the sdlgs used on iris photo as usual.
