You mean that ugly doggy red I got from Laced Cotton X Immortality may
have been real? I thought I'd messed up my records and I trashed the
rest of the bunch before they even bloomed! (89 cross)

IMMORTALITY itself can produce dark seedlings. IMM X DUSKY GRAPE
produced mostly very dark purple seedlings, an ugly red neglecta, and a
few whites.
IMM X WHO'S YOUR DADDY produced few surviving seedlings, all pale blue.
So there seems to be some dilution possible with IMM - not entirely
either/or.
Wish the darn things were fertile here! Dead end so far.
