Need alcohol soak to remove beta carotene. As lycopene is only slightly
soluble in alcohol it will be left behind. As beards are yellow there
would not be much proabilyt of lycopene present. With three dosages
ot "t" gene the yellow beards become somewhat orange.

With that pedigree, I'd definitely hot water soak those beards, see if

you have any visible red or pink in any of them.

Has anybody comes up with a nice portable hot water soak kit to go
along

with the notebook, tweezers, tags, etc to take to the breeding patch?

Sure would be nice to be able to check beards without having to go back

to the kitchen.
