 Mike,

Guess what, i will transplant it tomorrow to a good rich patch, and I'll see next year if it turns into a Beautiful Fat Betty Boop or stays skinny like it was this spring.
Will let you know, of course!

Thanks a lot,

loïc

Hmmmmm I think that you might be right about the soil conditions.  it looks identical to Betty Boop without the round form.... for us, the SDBs will vary quite a bit during the bloom season with the first stalks being a bit short and the flowers not quite as nice as the mid part of the bloom season and that is on the same clump.  wonder if anybody else has experienced this?

Mike,

i have 27 seeds from this look-alike-Betty-Boop-with-narrower-falls X Hey There, and i would like to know it's name.
Do you have a clue?

Betty Boop has such round falls, the difference is big for them to be the same.
Might it still be Betty Boop with a poor look due to bad clay?

Loïc
But really

Thank you Loic,
Trop. delight is a very good parent for us, glad it didn't die out on you.  Makes nice bi-colored IBs with horns and rebloom....here anyway. thanks again for the reply.
best regards
Mike
