Hi Robert,
Way down at the base of the fan?  if it is sending up a stalk right now, or even trying to bloom in this relentless heat it is a rebloomer.  Hopefully it will bloom a little taller in the future for you.

I am currently digging rhizomes for the 2014 regional iris show in Santa Rosa. I dug up one of my 2011 seedlings that flowered this past spring, and low and behold it had a flower glued to the rhizome!! Does this mean it might be a rebloomer?/ Any suggestions would be appreciated.One parent is suggested to be an RE, however it has never for me in the past 8 years.
