Â
The tallest rebloom stalk I've ever grown here was September Frost at
44".
This is the second tallest at 43", in really good dirt, with afternoon
shade.
Don't know whether to call it 3 branches and spur or 4 and spur. The
second
branch from the bottom is just vestigial on both stalks, I'm guessing
from heat
and drought at critical time. 13 buds so far on the branches they have.
Â
This was spboi last spring. Massive rhizomes and foliage 7, maybe 8
increases.
Sibs look the same. Have had mostly fine, healthy growers from MT, but
breeding
exclusively to SA, this is the first rebloomer.
Â
Sorry about the mug shot background. It was either that or shoot into
the sun.
Not looking forward to a wind test!

seedling, purple with antlers,(well that's what they look like!),Âred
beard, triple terminal.
Â
Lost of stalks starting now, probably too late. Sigh.
