Just for kicks & grins I'm posting a photo of a 1/2-bred arilbred rhizome.
It looks rather different than a typical bearded iris rhizome (at least the
ones in my garden). It almost reminds me of tulip bulbs. This is Fourteen
For Rachel, a very prolific increaser.
Not exactly a pretty picture, but interesting anyway!
