Yes, Abbeville Red and A. Yellow were early names given before Randolph designated these a species.  I wonder if anyone has pictures of the Abbeville Swamps. From my reading I have heard that they are now being developed. Do these natural populations still exist?

Just out of curiousity (and I admit this shows how out of step I am on some issues) is this by chance one of what were called the "Abbyville reds" many years ago?
