Iris furcata and Iris perrieri

Could someone tell me whether these bearded species are diploid or 
tetraploid? (I'm assuming that they're 24 or 48 chromosome types.) I 
have one plant of each getting ready to bloom soon and would like to 
hybridize them with irises having the appropriate ploidy.
