Dear Tom; I would encourage you to name one of your ?Kupari? X ?Rubromarginata? bicolors and one of your purples. I know they don?t look like advancements in terms of SDB?s but they are intellectually interesting and perhaps have some things to tell us about the species. Personally I would rather see these two registered and introduced than ten perfect SDBs. Although I can appreciate the beauty of advanced cultivars, at times they get rather boring without their dowdy ancestors around to remind us from where they come. Of course some people would rather live among the beauty queens all the time. Myself I like a mix of things otherwise I tend to get bored with any one type real quick
