Re: April 11, Iris Colorado

Hi Dorothy,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do a lot of lily (asiatic as well as martagons) hybridizing and that would be what you would probably remember although I dabble in a few other areas as well such as hybridizing small flowered clematis, siberian irises, etc.
I would love a copy of your price list with your introductions.  I will probably contact Chuck
Chapman in late summer. I can understand that you are somewhat hesitant about sending to Canada.
I have a new bed in the backyard that I would be most happy to have some of your introductions growing in.
Thanks again and have a wonderful growing season.

Hi Jim,

I recently looked at some slides from the MG Conference we attended in Saskatoon, but don't know where they are just now.  Are you the lily hybridizer or perhaps the one with the caged tomatoes or the one with the yellow clematis?  There was a garden with a lot of alpines. also.

Anyway, we are just a backyard garden selling only our own introductions.  I am trying to put the finishing touches on our 2006 price list.  I can send you one when it is done, but we are not crazy about shipping to Canada.  It is too much of a hassle getting a phytosanitary certificate.  However, we have shipped many of our introductions to Chuck Chapman in Guelph, Ontario, and he lists them in his catalog.

Dorothy
