Varda Gorge and Kupari X rubromarginata

These are the first beardeds to bloom for me this
year. Both of these little guys were open on Easter
Day. I've collected some pollen for crossing with
later blooming beardeds. 

Varda Gorge, the yellow was purchased from Iris
Colorado. If I'm recalling correctly, it is a
collected form of Iris reichenbachiana from the Varda
Gorge in Greece.

The short purple is the best red-margined foliage
seedling from my cross of 'Kupari' white Iris pallida
X Iris suaveolens rubromarginata.
