Iranian lactea

JPEG image

I find this very interesting. This I. lactea clone came via Iran as a spuria iris. It is blooming now and at about 12 inches tall. All other lacteas of Chinese/Mongolian origin are just coming into growth and none is over 4 inches tall. It looks just like a lactea, and I don't think it appears naturally that far East. A mystery. Due to unfavorably politics at the moment we are unable to glean any more information of it's origins. Any ideas you have would be appreciated.
