SV: SV: Re: Onco's

Hi Diana,

I am sure you are able to grow aril hybrids and species in BC. I am sure Your mild climate along the Pacific coast would do.

The only type of Aril’s I not am able to grow here in Denmark are the true lowland Oncocyclus species – If I was using a cold house may I succeed,  but I am growing all my plants outdoor.

Enclosed is one of my own RC hybrids.

Med venlig hilsen / Kind regards

There might be some members in the Interior of the province. It has a
more extreme climate, and apricots grow well, so perhaps oncos would
do well also. Down here on the Pacific coast, we are lucky to have
tomatoes ripen. I have seen some juno iris growing here, but no
oncos, though a friend tried growing some arilbreds once,
unsuccessfully.

I don't think of Denmark as being onco-territory. How do you grow them?
