Re: Iris what species?

It is a Louisiana Iris. According to Rodney Barton's web site:

http://facstaff.hsc.unt.edu/rbarton/Iris/NANI_dist.html

both Iris brevicaulis and Iris hexagona are native to Florida. The stems of I. hexagona are straight. The stems of I. brevicaulis zig-zag and are often held at angle so the flowers are down in the foliage.

Like Iris pseudacorus, this little beauty came from the same native
plant sale. Does anyone know what this Iris is? I will need to extract it
way from some Iris pseudacorus, and knowing what it is would help me know
how to culture it.
