In all my years I can safely say I've never seen these species blooming together side-by-side.  What a great photo, Mark!  Bringing the distant cousins together.  :-)

Madelaine,
      That African Iris is Dietes bicolor, and the Walking Iris is Neomarica
candida.  The Neomarica is fragrant.
