This is so sad.  Christy was one of my first cyber friends in the Iris world.  For the last 15+ years she has been a constant source of encouragement in my Iris growing adventures.  We traded so many plants... emails... photos... and stories, over the years.  I loved her enthusiasm!  My bloom seasons won't be the same without her to share them with.  :-(

Unfortunately, no iris will be blooming in our area for another month or so.  I have known Christy since the mid 1980s, and currently grow her introductions and have several of her seedlings in my garden.
