I salvaged Iris attica from a garden bed a few years ago. It was clearly unhappy there. Put it in a styrofoam box with a very open mix, 50 percent coarse perlite. Last year the chipmunks ate all the flowers. This year, however, more than a dozen stalks have emerged and the display is lovely.
