This is a hybird neomarica, (N. candida X 'Regina') X same (self or a sibling). 'Regina' is a plant from the trade available in the big box stores here ocassionaly. It's listed as N. caerulea, but I'm sure it's not. I'm leaning toward N. sabina or a hybrid. I can't seem to get it to bloom regularly.

My goal was to get a plant with blue flowers and the better bloom and smaller stature of candida. The F1s were uniformly pale blue. In the F2s I've gotten some whites, pale blues and a few darker blues. What I didn't expect is this pattern of blue increasing towards the edges of the petals. I've been calling it "blush" for lack of a better term.
