Sisyrinchium palmifolium

 

Hi All,

After years of lackluster performance, I move this into a new bed last fall. I don't know what the difference is but it has really taken off.  We have had a very wet start to the year. Blooms open in the late afternoon and are gone by the next morning. It's been blooming like this for days. It's never set seed on it's own, so I'm trying to hand pollinate it this year.
