I like the yellow. I've heard of other more brightly colored clones
as well. I'll be that a little breeding could bring out some very
attractive flowers in this species. Then it would be showy in spring and
in late summer (seeds). I am only growing two clones so far (variegated
and 'Golden Goblet'), and neither has richly colored flowers.
That's not to say that the usual flowers of the species aren't attractive -
I like them - just in a muted delicate sort of way.
