Re: Dolce & Petit Lion (not Gabbana)

Hi Robert,

I have been very impressed with Paul's work and I just planted the Dolce I ordered from him.  I was pretty sure there was aphylla twice, but didn't remember just how.  I am interested in working with aphylla bred iris but am still in the learning stage.  I know the Craigs did a lot of work along these lines and I have ordered some of their lines that Wildwood is carrying.  Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Bill

Bill: one point to note about Dolce pedigree: The two parents of Dolce were each one-half Iris aphylla.

Paul used an Iris species to try to create a new type of Iris.
