That's frustrating! I've got a Manfreda right now that's aborting all pods from Agave pollen that had been developing for several weeks. On the plus side, I just harvested my Iris tectorum pods and have a few viable-looking seeds from each of several crosses with bearded species.


Good luck with your bettas. Apparently breeders are now creating hybrids between fancy strains of splendens and several wild species.
