I just read on the Iris au Trescols website, than Lawrence Ransom, best
know for his innovative aril iris has died suddenly at only 62 years of
age. A true innovater creating aril-bred iris for the non-specialist and
specialist alike, as well as a gentleman, he will truly be missed.
